NEW MEMBER WELCOMED
Bob Whitmoyer joined our congregation by transfer of letter on Sunday, April 16th during worship. Bob has been attending with us for about a year. His testimony is powerful, having survived an auto accident in which he was severely burned. His recovery has been nothing short of miraculous, and he is healing faster than the doctors thought possible. Bob helps out wherever he can, but is especially gifted with running our new sound system. Below is a picture of Bob receiving his membership certificate from Pastor John.
We meet every other Tuesday weather permitting. All are welcome. Bring your own yarn and hooks or we have some to share to get you started. Come and enjoy fellowship and learning new needlework skills. Many of the projects have been given to specific people such as our home-bound folks, or those in nursing homes. Plans are in the works to make children’s mittens, caps, etc. for inclusion in this year’s Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.
